SUNFISH!!!

Tonight was Libby last swimming lesson. She passed!! She is no longer a Salamander, she has graduated to the Sunfish class. She was so excited, I took her to Walmart to pick out a present for doing such a great job!
She picked out "Finochio" as she calls it.

Blog Books

Finally Blurb.com fixed its website and I got my second blog book finished. I don't print of pictures anymore since everything is digital. Heather told me about Blurb, so I quickly looked into it. My first book is about 80 pages for the year 2006. Then Blurb was unable to "slurp" in blogs off blogger. So I waited, waited and waited until finally it was fixed. So I quickly "slurped" in my 2007 year of blogging. Then after a week and 20+ hours of editing I finished 2007. This book is 260 pages and has over 730 pictures. It cost $92 taxes & shipping included, which works out to about .11 cents a picture, which is reasonable considering it comes in a bound book with descriptions about the pictures.
I just "slurped" in my 2008 year...I've been trying to take more pictures to make sure our whole year is documented in our book....that's why I do post a lot of pictures because I know the end result is my book for the year. Well, 2008 had over 2000 pictures so I am going to have to make 2 books for 2008 (Jan. - June & July - Dec.) because there is a maximum 440 page limit per book. Which is fine, because I know the whole book will have everything from that year. Libby loves to look at them and try and remember what was happening in the pictures. So a good investment in the end.

New Camera...Finally!!!

Well this is our brand new Power shot SD1000....yay! I got it almost free, from Shoppers today. They had redeem your points today so the camera was $199 and I had $170 worth to redeem, pretty good I'd say, worth the wait. Because Power Shots our my first choice for cameras and we already had one so I have 2 back up batteries for it. It doesn't have a better zoom, but it is a pocket camera and that's all I want for my purse or pocket.
Old was SD300 and 4.0 megapixals.....New has 7.1 megapixels
The screen on the new one is also bigger. The guys also gave me this microfiber cloth to clean the screen and lens. So now when we go to Florida, I won't miss any shots popping the battery in and out of our old one to turn it on and off.

New Bed

Well with lots of shopping around for a big boy bed for Lincoln, we've settled with a toddler bed off of kijiji. With Libby, we already had a double bed in the room she was moving into, so we just got the bed frame and a dresser for her room. But for Lincoln we want to get him bunk beds or a loft bed, because his room is a bit smaller and I want to make more room to play in it for him. The problem is, Lincoln is not afraid of anything and Tim & I could see him launching himself off of the top of the bunk beds. So I started to hunt on kijiji for a wood toodler bed (we can use his crib mattress in it). I saw Rocco's toodler bed and thought it was the perfect size for a wild man like Lincoln...I don't think he'll be able to hurt himself on this bed....and it is going to make his room feel huge. This is the picture of the bed set up off of kijiji. I'm not going to move him until he is 2 or so, we'll see how he is in the summer. Libby was a different personality and was ready for the big girl bed. Lincoln would be out of the bed so fast and all over the house in the middle of the night, he'll have to wait a bit longer. It is in pieces in the basement and he is excited when he sees it, but he is definately not ready yet....

Allergy Appointment

This is Lincoln sound asleep coming home from his appointment. So far we have had a good report. No reactions in 3 months and he will be tested by his blood in December.
He was wore out from all the excitement, I even tried to keep him awake with cheesie's....didn't work.

No Fear

Lincoln cruising down the slide...big difference from last year to this year.

Playground Season

Libby & Lincoln having a picnic supper together....he wouldn't stop eating off her plate, she didn't enjoy that part.
Out to the playground for some swings and slides
Lincoln is a typical boy, climbing up everything but the ladder.
Then he would jump at the top close to every edge, but he didn't fall...

St. Patty's Day!

Lincoln & Libby sporting their green clothes for St. Patty's Day!
Libby going for a solo pose
Libby went with Tim to the eye doctor....she is playing with the kitchen while they wait.
Then they headed into the city to Fireside for lunch. Posing by the fireplace.
At the table after the meal.
Libby taking a picture of Daddy in his green shirt.....a lady came over to Tim when she was leaving to tell him that she couldn't believe how well behave Libby was.
Tim showing Libby the bill....an expensive date....not really but Tim doesn't like spending money.
This was Tim when I got home from work....Libby wore him out, then covered him up on the kitchen floor....so I laid his supper beside him.
After they went for lunch, he took her to the candy store, Dalplex playground, Library then home. He has Thursday off with her as well....we'll see what happens on Thursday.

Shades & Rug

I was cleaning the floors, and Libby pulled the rug into the kitchen and her and Lincoln were playing on it....it made me think of back in the day when people use to carpet the kitchen & bathroom...gross!
Libby and her fashionable butterfly shades. Soon she'll be wearing them without a winter jacket.

New Subway

Coming down Cobequid we saw this....so we pulled over so the kids could watch the machines rip down the building.
Here is the brand new Subway, I had no idea it was moving next door.
The old and the new....

Hawii Girl

Libby likes to play in her bed before she goes to sleep. After Mike Moore's 50th bday party they let her take a bunch of these home....and she loves to play with them...she wanted to see if she could fit them all on her neck...and she did.

Cassidy's 8th Bday!!!

Cassidy8, Libby 3 1/2, Lincoln 19mths, Gavin 9 1/2
Trying to get everyone look one way and smile is impossible...Lincoln kept saying "cheese" just not looking in the right direction.
Posing for the picture, again no one looking in one direction.
Cassidy's eyes are focused on the cake...LOL...so are Libby's & Lincoln's as Gavin serenades everyone in "Bonne Fete a Toi".
And blow....Lincoln was blowing through the whole song, just was not hitting the candles with his breath. Then when we lit a candle for him to blow out, he blew it out with his nose.

Dawson with his cute dimples.
Libby snuggling up to Rocco. When we got home all she talked about was when Rocco can come over to play at her house. She says she needs to show him some things....I think she means her toys. Libby is 4 days older then Rocco (May 6th & May 10th).
More cheeses'...Libby was so excited she ate all her "basagna" we ended the meal with Lisa's cupcakes, I forgot to take a picture of them, they were yummy.
Libby, Lincoln, Dawson & Rocco.
Lincoln 19 months, Dawson 2 years old.
More punching
Rocco knocked himself over.
Libby & Rocco punching with all their might.
Libby loving the pink gloves
Lincoln trying on the pink glove, too heavy for him to hold up.

The kids

I bought Libby's twins a pair of PJ's....so she had to dress them and take everyone to bed with her. And that is how they slept the night away, all in a row.
Lincoln passing time on the potty reading a book.

Bedtime Fun

Lincoln had to crawl into bed and have a snack with Libby before bed. They had a good old time.
